12th May 2021

Doig+Smith - Aberdeen Harbour ExpansionIt was announced this week that the Aberdeen Harbour Board has issued two new contracts for the construction of the harbour’s South Breakwater and Crown Wall, with work set to begin on site imminently.

International Marine Contractor, Van Oord has been appointed to deliver the 550-meter-long South Breakwater, while Beattie FRC, Scottish-based construction firm, is tasked with building the concrete Crown Wall that will along the length of the North Breakwater.
