Celebrating the Diverse Range of Industries We Are Proud to Serve…

11th May 2020

The COVID-19 Pandemic has left no person, no country and no company untouched. Each of us have felt its impact in one way or another, with some more deeply affected. From a business perspective, certain industries are thriving, while others have unfortunately ground to a screeching halt.

At Doig+Smith we have never been more proud or thankful to have such a varied portfolio of clients across the public and private sectors, serving a broad range of industries.

Doig+Smith - Proud to serve a diverse range of industries.

We have always enjoyed the variety a diverse portfolio brings. With each new project, we gain new experiences, learn invaluable lessons and of course, it keeps our day-to-day interesting.

So here’s to our wonderful clients and here’s to the future.

In this time of crisis we have all shown courage, resilience and flexibility. We’ve proved that we can embrace and adapt to new circumstances.

Working in construction, we’ve seen building site closures temporarily bringing projects to a standstill but thankfully, in our role as consultants, there is lots of important work that goes on beyond the fenced perimeters of a building site.

Our hardworking staff are working effectively from home, driving our projects forward, managing project teams, delivering market testing, producing valuations, fee proposals, cost reports and more.

We are also tendering for bids. In recent weeks, we have been invited to tender on multiple bids for an exciting range of projects. This is an encouraging sign and offers optimism for the post-covid landscape.

We continue to advise our clients on all aspects of construction, helping them to deliver their development strategies and prepare for the future, whatever it may bring. At this time, it has never been more important to show true leadership skills and our staff are demonstrating this on a day to day basis.

When the worst of this pandemic finally blows over, the working world as we know it, will surely never be the same again – but it might just change for the better. After all, aren’t we now working smarter, leaner and safer than ever before?
