We are beginning to see significant progress on the site of the new £40.9 million Boclair Academy in Bearsden.
Just last week the final bolts were tightened on the steel framework – only four months after the main construction works got underway. This was a significant milestone for the project team witnessed by Boclair’s Head Teacher Douglas Brown.
The next stage of the project to be tackled by contractor McLaughlin & Harvey is the installation of the floor slabs and roof structures over the coming weeks.
Doig+Smith are involved in this East Dunbartonshire Council project in a multi-disciplinary capacity, having been appointed to provide Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Principal Designer and Supervisor services.
