Doig + Smith were delighted to be asked to present at a recent RICS CPD Foundation event. One of our Senior Surveyor’s, Dean Carrick, undertook the task with great enthusiasm as Dean is studying towards a Doctorate in the Built Environment. The thrust of his thesis is about collaboration in procurement and his presentation was entitled “Risk Management in Construction Contracts – Contractor Insolvency and Supply Chain Management”.
Amongst the topics covered were Insolvency, Supply Chain Members, Collaborative Models in Construction, Contractor Selection and many more. He presented at both Edinburgh and Glasgow RICS events where his presentation was well received. He has also rolled out his presentations to our various offices.
